Toro 20332
Greetings Good People. Below you'll find a quick review of the Toro 20332 a.k.a. the Toro Recycler. I'm Brad Roland and I'll tell you early that I'm writing this review out of sheer love. I've been using the Toro 20332 for a couple of years now and it has changed my view of mowing a lawn. Previously, I dreaded mowing my lawn and I can't say I particularly liked being outdoors. That all changed when my doctor forced me (oh I so hate him) to change my diet and get more exercise. I begrudgingly followed his instructions and got more active. I brought the Toro 20332 about three years ago (around the same time that my doctor betrayed me :). I used to pay the kid across the street to mow my lawn but after the news, I figured it would be a decent way for me to stay active (and save like $25 bucks per week).
Don't laugh but mowing a lawn burns a nice amount of calories. Anyway, I rolled out the Toro and got to moving. That thing is light weight and easy to use. After a few minutes, I realized that I could hear myself think. There was very little noise. The Toro 20332 inspired me to buy an iPod and I love listening to my old Johnny Cash. I noticed my neighbors laughing at me a couple of times. I figured out that I was singing (or should I say howling) and that delighted the little lady across the street.
I love not having to gas it up and not having to worry about oil. Since my doc told me to get moving more, I like that I can walk fast while mowing. I have no issues cutting grass that is maybe 6 or 7 inches tall. If it's higher than that, I have to walk a bit slower but I don't mind so much. The Toro 20332 was a good purchase .. very reliable and I have not had one problem.
After I get done mowing, I'll usually recharge it right away. It takes about 7 hours to get from 0 to 100%. When fully charged, it'll run for about 2 hours which is more than enough time for my yard that's just about a half acre.
PROS:
- I get a good cut each time and it mulches pretty well
- It's a tough little guy .. I don't have to worry about breaking it
- It makes very little noise
- It's electric so it's easy to maintain - no messing with oil and no trips to the gas station with my little red container
- Freedom of movement - it's cordless
- When charging, it has an automatic shut off when fully charged (so you can leave it plugged in.)
CONS:
- The mulch bag is a bit small
- Since the battery is internal, you can't switch it out .. which is okay since i don't need a back up battery.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and happy to say that my blood pressure is back to normal (gotta keep close watch though.) Of course, the Toro 20332 is not responsible for that but if I had a rinky dink mower, I'd have to get in the gym and sing my Johnny Cash there (where I'm sure I'd be ejected for my own personal form of noise pollution).
I hope this helps ... see the official site below.
